Associate Software Engineer - Talroo (Jan 2019 - Present)
Backend software engineer on an agile team focused on building, maintaining and expanding internal systems and API's (both internal and external) primarily using the Java/Spring tech stack. I have
had the opportunity to work on creating and maintaining API's, designing and prototyping third party integration, and work on some of the DevOps and QA task for an application. My favorite
aspect of my current role is getting to work with smart more experienced developers to develop solutions that address critical business needs.
Applications Engineer - National Instruments (Jan 2017 - Dec 2018)
Enable customer success and sales enablement by providing technical support for customers using National Instruments automated test hardware/software products, primarily focuses on
PXI, programming environments, and application software.
This involved effectively communicating with customers to diagnose hardware/software issues in person or over the phone. I would regularly have to reproduce the reported behavior with hardware/software on my end for verification
and either provide a solution or have conversations with the sales, marketing, and R&D departments about both technical and business related problems.
I also worked on multiple internal projects for the marketing and R&D departments. The project types ranged from build customer facing demos with hard/software that are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, to
prototyping systems with the newest hardware/software systems prior to their release. During this time I also developed an internal application for my department to optimize time management
that was built using React Native and firebase.
Freelance Consultant (Part-Time) (July 2018 - Oct 2018)
Full-stack developer working with a small team to create a mobile application using a react native front-end, Firebase backend, and redux middleware.
Yield and Integration Engineer (Intern) - Cascade Microtech (July 2018 - Oct 2018)
My main focus was to collaborate with a team of senior engineers to develop and optimize the fabrication of semiconductor devices by designing and performing experiments, that were evaluated using multiple metrology techniques and software. During the course of my internship I was also a full-time graduate student.
